Beetle cleaned Hand paint cow skull

This beautiful hand-painted cow skull is easily one of my favorite pieces, and honestly, pictures don't do justice to the countless hours poured into her details.

​Taking inspiration from natural oddities and curiosities, I hand-painted a prominent Death's-head hawkmoth at the top, framed by delicate, dark vines that stretch down the bridge of the bone. The deep black accents give her a striking, bold silhouette. She would look absolutely incredible displayed in someone's home—perfect for a collector of the unique, the strange, and the beautiful.
